      I've been using sketchup for about six months now. I came across a unique problem with an object from the warehouse. I'm trying to scale the length down from roughly 10ft down to 7ft. When I do this it snaps back to 10ft and the position of the object has changed. Has anyone else seen this issue and what is the workaround?

      Object: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=282874fa757c0dabca76c527f185435c&prevstart=0

      Thanks in advance!

        I have approved your first post as it seems Sketchup relevant, however I notice your version is wrong, please correct this.

          it's a dynamic component. (notice the green squares/triangle icon next to the model name)

          go: Window --> component options
          to see what parameters are available.. you might be able to get something better than scaling this way. (I can't check it.. on a phone)

          otherwise, you'll have to either explode it (and any nested dynamic components) then regroup it or you can edit the parameters of the DC via window--> component attributes
