I give you the USMC X-1 Theseus
Modeled in SU7... Rendered in PoserPro, untextured atm (just an IBL and Ambient Occlusion light setup used)[xxl-img:zkzvkgj7]http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7111/6851440102_7aa41c4f44_b.jpg[/xxl-img:zkzvkgj7]

SWEET!

Love the retro style. No view ports or hatch?
-
those I'll add once I've got the main modeling done.. planning to seperate out panels in the hull to allow me to put different hatches / viewports in as I like.
-
excellent, what method did you use for the panels in SU?
-
the method I've been using is to select the faces I want to make the panels of, then use "tools on a surface" to inset a .5mm ring. (I then tidy the corners to make Quads) then I select the inner faces and smart push/pull .5mm to give me the panel. (I then inset again, but that's for Poser, to give a sharp edge. otherwise poser's inbuilt smoothing will cause problems)

Yes good work, I can see segmentation now I look deeper but still amazing work!

gonna be delayed on completing this..
first my 1TB Primary drive took a dump. thanks to a mate, I was able to save my main system / work partitions to a 500GB. (the rest I can save later when I more HD space..)then my graphics card took a dump. the cooling fan's going On/off/on/off/on/off... so right now, I'm stuck with the onboard video.. (a 6150le whatever that is.....)
be a coupla weeks before I can afford a new GFX card...
