A Wash Stand

Dave,
It's a lovely simple yet elegant piece, the only thing I would be concerned about which is not shown in images is the plumbing/drain pipe, how will that work?
-
Thanks Pete,
The drain goes down behind the panel behind the glass shelf. The shut off valves for the supply side are under there as well. I designed the piece so that after removing the shelf, the panel can be lifted up and out much like a sliding door on a cabinet. This gives clear access to the plumbing and no tools are required to get at it.

Ever hear of bog oak Dave?
Friend of mine sculpts it and I've seen him make sinks from it.
Nice model especially the textures.
-
Hi Rich. Yes, I have heard of bog oak. We don't have bogs here, though.

If you ever wanna do a bit of turf cutting for the summer let me know.

Thanks for the offer. I'll keep it in mind.

Dave, you are a master of SketchUp presentation... you present in SketchUp better than many do with rendered images !

-
Thank you, my friend.

Very nice Dave I like the suttle cuve in the front

Thank you, Walt.
