Upgrade to Pro very cheaply
-
Color me interested - but before I might beg for a copy, would it show the use of Layout, solid tools and dynamic components? As I've been a free user for years these are the only things I have no clue as to what they might be for.

Yeah, you can see a list of all the chapters in the series in the link above - it only really covers the Pro stuff with an extended in-depth look at Dynamic Components and particularly Layout.
It's a little dated now for people who upgraded when version 8 was first released, but since you are all new users I thought it would be helpful.
All I need is your postal address (via PM) -- I'll try to mail them all out at the same time to save me multiple trips to the post office.
Best,
Jason. -
Sadness.. got here too late..
Let me know please if you happen to have more!

Well, apparently there is one more license available. One of the members who bought a license has a Mac, and these licenses are only for PC's. As soon as I verify this, I'll let you know.
Never thought about this for some reason
Feel kinda bad about wasting a license for myself, I don't really need Pro but I wanted to be sure they were legitimate codes before I...well, too late now I guess

Yes, there is one more license available. PC's only, no Macs
-
Has this license gone, I'd lie it if it's still available?
Thanks.

Well, hope everybody is happy with their upgrade to Pro. I may have the opportunity to get some more licenses, will post here if I do.
Enjoy! -

Last call for a set of my videos -- I've got one left unaccounted for and I'm going to the post office Monday.
Best,

Hi everyone,
Chiming in here from the SketchUp team: it's very likely that the licenses in question here are not valid. A few folks on the forum have already mentioned the not-for-resale clause of SketchUp's end-user license agreement; to clarify, we can arrange for the transfer of a valid license upon request. However, in this case, we can't validate that they are valid SketchUp Pro licenses in the first place.
If anyone has questions about these licenses or how to transfer a valid license, please use contact the SketchUp Pro sales team here: http://support.google.com/sketchup/bin/request.py?contact_type=sales
