These are some pieces I whipped up for a client who is looking for some classic Mission-style furniture. Most of these pieces are based on originals built around 1908.

Beautiful handiwork there. Sweet bench (second one)! Thanks for putting these up. Peter

thank you, Peter. I like that little bench too. I'm wondering if I have enough QSWO on hand to make one.

How are you attaching the leather on the first stool? If it is a row of tacks, do you drill small pilot holes? I have trouble driving brass tacks into oak.

              Roger,

I think small holes would be appropriate. The leather goes on wet after some webbing and a piece of muslin or light canvas is stretched over the the frame.

Do you mind sharing the leather texture from this http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7049/6816948618_b37cb2397b_z.jpg ? It happens for me to need something similar for a wall paint.
                Thank you very much.

I'll post it to you in a PM when I get home from work. I can't remember where I found it but it was some site that offers free textures that was linked in that thread in Resources. It's not exactly what I was hoping for but it was close enough to get the point across.

                      What a beautiful work, Dave!
I also like the bench and the book-shelf, the fourth one. They look quite simple but good design.
