This has to be the single most frustrating program I have every used. Does anyone know of windows that are drawn straight on like they go on a house? Every one that I have downloaded from the warehouse you have to rotate them every which way but loose to get them on the face of a house. My son in law installs windows (real ones) and he did a whole house today. I have been trying to get one in since 3 this afternoon. It is now 7:30. I have to have 8 of them in by midnight tonight for a class assignment. I am about in tears. Please either call me at to walk me through this, or at the very least send me an email at Iceonfire1878 @ aol.com.
      Thanking ANYONE in advance.

Can you point to a window with such erratic behaviour in the Warehouse?

Katie, you are probably having difficulty because most window components (if they have been constructed properly) will automatically cut holes into whichever wall they are laid onto. This results in the window itself appearing to be lying on its back if you open the file. The point is not to open the file...or if you do, in order to download it or check it out...then save it somewhere.
What you then need to do is import it into your existing model of the house. When you do this, you ought to find that not only is it the right way up but it will orient itself to whatever surface you lay it against and then cut a hole in that surface and embed itself the way you would expect it to.
