Model a "infinite"
-
How can I model this drawing in Sketch-up?
Thanks

I'd start by constructing a solid Moebius strip without any compartments, then use Tools on Surface followed by Joint Push pull to create the hollows.
The attached skp file shows how ro make the strip. As I point out in the file, it needed a teensy bit more of an offset to allow the two sections to pass each other cleanly...but you get the idea.

Alan, I'm very disappointed that your model wasn't perfect

Thanksthanks for helping me . And how can I build the corbels? Thank goodness

As I said in my original post, use Tools On Surface to draw out the pattern of recesses on the surface...then use the Joint Push Pull script to intrude them.

Here front is not not also the bottom
That is not a Moebius ribbon!
For that it must have only "one face" (not included thichness) -

Technically, that object is not a Mobius strip.

I know...on the other hand it's not an infinity sign either...that's 2D. I had to call it something without being too pedantically long-winded.
