Curved surface driving me crazy!! Help!

Hi Everyone,
I need help!! I have been playing around with this on and off for, embarrassed to say, months now. I know I can't push/pull on curved surfaces (i've downloaded the joint push pull plugin, but can't get it to help with what I am trying to achieve). I've also tried the solid tools, but am not having luck with that either. My two problems are:

1. Getting the curved cutouts onto the curved surfaces
2. Figuring out how to work with the angle that the curved surface makes.

I've attached a pdf of what I am trying to do, and also the sketchup file for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was looking for. I actually have both plugins that you mentioned, but haven't had the patience to read through the user manuals yet. Can you give me a quick run down on the steps you did?

Used Fredos scale tool and radial bending by selection of plane and edge.
