Photoshop CS6 sneakpeak 6
-
Well, maybe not with so many settings and fine tuning but Picasa can also do this.
-
Eric,
Just so you know, Adobe won't be offering upgrade discounts for CS6 unless you have CS5.
-
I know. I intend to purchase a new lic. when funds become available.
-
It is REALLY worth it. I could not live without my CS suite. My office did not do the 5 upgrade, but we are doing the upgrade from 4 to 6 and I am soooo ready for it!
-
I agree - I can't imagine being able to get any design or visualisation work done without an Adobe suite. I know that there is software out there that can get the job done, but I'm just so familiar with the Adobe work flow that it doesn't make sense to look at the alternatives.
I'm even willing to overlook the fact that I'm going to have to upgrade from CS3 to CS5.5 in order to qualify for an upgrade discount (can you tell I'm still a bit annoyed about the change in policy? )
Looking at some of the other CS6 sneak peaks it looks like it's going to be a major upgrade as well - certainly in terms of performance anyway.
-
One of my most wanted features will finally be in it: Autosave!!!!
I work with lots of layers (sometimes up to 200 plus layermasks) so documents are heavy and occationally have crashed.
I can't believe autosave havent been available until now.I also wish they did a overhaul of the brush engine for more painter like painting.
-
I'm so happy to upgrade my gimp version...for free !! Just kidding guys, nice feature indeed.
Cheers.

I think Adobe changed their mind on this. They're now offering upgrade pricing for CS3 and 4.

Chris, Content Aware Fill (which came out with CS5) paid for the entire suite upgrade by itself. Content Aware is also getting an update in CS6 so you will definitely appreciate the upgrade. I might upgrade my personal license from 4 to 6 as well, just for those features.

Nice find Wyatt You've hopefully saved me a few quid.

Heres sneak peek 4 about the improved content aware fill.
