%(#004080)[I am filling in for a guy that's away on long service leave.
The company that I am at has had THEA installed but apparently it has not been used very often.

I am not familiar with THEA however each time I start up Sketchup I get 2 dialog boxes that open stating 'Thea not found in C:\projects\VRP 212201.skp'

As a matter of interest, I did a search for the SKP file referred to but it no longer exists.
The 2 dialog boxes (opening in succession) are driving me crazy.

Any suggestions as to what is happening or a fix would be appreciated.

      Cheers]

Go to your plugins folder, which is (by default) here
        C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 7\Plugins
and rename this plugin to something else (say change the extension to txt):
        TheaExporter_loader.rb

This is just a quick and dirty "solution" if you indeed do not use Thea too much nowdays. Hopefully the plugin developer will chime in soon and can give a better solution. Alternatively, try to post on the Thea forums, here:

Sounds like something gone bad with SU2Thea exporter installation. You can try to reinstall it from http://www.thearender.com/cms/index.php/downloads/sketchup-plugin.html and maybe also need Thea from http://www.thearender.com/cms/index.php/downloads/thea-render.html. It's recommenced to run installer with "Run as administrator" from right click context menu.

            %(#0080BF)[Hi notareal

I will have a look at this, if no luck then I will give the suggestion by Gaieus a go.

It's not my computer and as such, I am a bit reluctant to do program installations.

            Thanks for the replies.]

There is a "thea_path.txt" file in:
              "C:\Program Files\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins\TheaExporter_files\thea_path.txt"

This file has to be deleted. When you start SU again you will be asked to select thea.exe from Thea's folder.

On Win7 the "thea_path.txt" might be located in:
              "C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins\TheaExporter_files\thea_path.txt"

Anyway, using installer is the recommended solution.
