Good lefthanded mouse?
-
Can't you just assign the buttons right to left without needing a left handed dedicated mouse?
-
I use my left hand to control the mouse. I tried using my right but couldn't get comfortable. I've a right handed programmable mouse gathering dust that's why I tried to search for a good left handed option. It seems we're not catered for that well.

Anyone know a good mouse for lefties?
I see Logitech MX 610 getting good reviews but tracking one down is proving a challenge. I don't want one of those gaming mice that look like spaceships. Just a mouse with a few buttons.
Even if it's a left/right mouse it'd do.
We use a equipment from Dell quite often, they do have nice laser mouse. Hard to tell about availability, but I'd look on this
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=330-2451. Dell also have basic 3 button MS111 USB Optical Mouse. It works well if side buttons are not needed.
If you looking something more fancy, maybe Microsoft’s Touch Mouse or Explorer Touch Mouse... but those are best to test first, touch interface may fell odd for some. -

Choose a mouse that's not sculpted to a right-hand and just swap the buttons over in the control-panel settings to make it 'left-handed'... -
Aaah, that's what Pete was on about. I like those sculpted mice with the thumb buttons. Not great using pinky to press.
Thanks for the links though.

There is one used going on ebay. The picture is right handed but it says stock photo, worth a look.
The description says left handed, then right handed, who knows. You can always ask the seller. -
If you want "sculpted" maybe pic one from Razer. Personally using Razer Imperator (Right-hand) at home, no plans to change until it breaks.

I contacted the seller and they sent a pic of the mouse. It looked like it had a hard life
But today I spent a while browsing Maplin and bought myself a Logitech M325. No fancy extras just a wireless mouse.

Oh well, it was worth a look.
But come clean now Rich, we all know a lefthanded mouse is only for use on those sites where it is advantageous to have a free range of movement with your right hand.

Look at where my new mouse is bringing me to...
...damn thing has a mind of it's own

Perhaps you need to threaten it with this http://www.maplin.co.uk/electronic-mouse-killer-228074

Logitech g300 is a decent mouse, a little small perhaps for larger hands but comfy all the same.

Rich has small hands and feet...

I can't argue with that....
I want to, but we're under strict instructions to be nice
