Help by texturing polyfaced house with shingles
-
Hi and sorry for my bad enlish

I have to texture a house with wooden shingles. The facades of the house arent normal. There are many polygonal faces. The little wooden shingles have to go over the faces like the link below

ok i have to say that I can do this part in Photoshop. But is there a possibility to lay the texture over two roof faces?
For better understanding, I attached the file.P.S. is there a way maybe with a PlugIn to texture this correctly?
Thanks!

right click on the face you want to edit, -> texture -> position

If you have two or more faces that are facing in a very similar direction, you can also right-click on one of them that looks ok, choose Texture > Projected, the sample that face (Paint Tool + Alt) and paint onto all the other faces. This will line all the textures up automatically, so you do not need to adjust each one.
