Render - criticisms and suggestions please

my render is looking unrealistic and lacks the realism..i added glass too but it looks flat. im using default settings. what do you guys advice

put together a context. The image is floating in space. If you have some street views, you can even make some simple cutout "billboards" just to give some images for the window to reflect. Look at some example renderings. I find using photomontage is the quickest was to give a render "realism"

well actually i see a lot of images with absolutely no context..but still they look nice. e.g. this

well, then zoom in on your building, it's that easy... My point is that the view you posted of your building has it floating in the air. The one you refer has a ground plane and some notion of how it sits on the ground.

The modelling looks really nice, but I agree with Andybot. Perhaps a different camera angle, something closer to what a person would see real-world. This will help the realism. Another suggestion would be to look at your textures. Texturing is just as important (if not more so) as modelling. For example the texture at the front entrance is very repetitive. Finally, lighting. Perhaps move the sun around a little to make the shadows a little more dramatic. Even adding in some ground plane with some vegetation (trees etc) will help cast some interesting shadows on the facade of the building. Once again though, the modelling seems nice and clean and pretty intricate.

thanks. ...although i know there'sbeen a lotta triangulation of simple rectangle faces..making model untidy..vray ignores those bad lines that come
