All the Best for 2012
-
Well, not sure if someone in NZ has beaten me to it but seeing I'm under 7 hours away from 2012 I'll say to all you blokes here best of health, happiness and prosperity for the coming year.
This place is like my favorite local; catch up with mates, learn a little and laugh a lot. It is a credit to those who make time to moderate and those who share their expertise and skills.
Not suprised we've hit the 100k mark in memberships. Now I'm going to drink red wine in volumes.....
See you on the next calendar.

So for every one a very good, modeling and a heahlty new year. And me 2012 will be a good year for your personal life too
-
Here's hoping that the next year is better than the one before for everyone.
-
At the beginning of the year, there are things that we know and things we do not know ...
We do not know if the Lord will come again this year, but we know that this year brings us closer to His coming (the Rapture imminent event).
We do not know what will happen in our lives, but we know that all things work together for good to those who love God. (Romans 8:28)We do not know what kind of shortcomings we will have this year, but we know that God, who is faithful, said that He cares of our (who trust in Him ) needs, according to His unlimited assets.
We do not know what conflicts / difficulties awaits us, but we know that in Him we are more than conquerors. (Romans 8:37)We do not know who will be against us, but we know that God is on our (who trust in Him ) side.
We do not know what kind of factors will tempt to our unity with Christ, but we know that no thing, no creature, either in heaven or on earth, will be able to separate us from the love that God has shown us in the Lord Jesus Christ . (Romans 8:38-39)We do not know what is the future for us, but we know that the Lord takes in hand our future.
Paul said: "I know in whom I have believed" (and it was enough for him) "because I believe that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him!" (2 Timothy 1:12).
Each of us we have safe the things which we entrust to the Lord, because He "knows not to lose", and no one is able to snatch them out of His hand! (John 10:28-29)I wish to all of you a verry good health (physical, mental and spiritual)!

I hope 2012 may bring health, prosperity and happiness to all of you, whether believing in (a) god or not. Let's hope religion isn't as much the cause of more conflicts in this/our world.
Peace.

Guys, always RELIGIOSITY create conflicts (internal or external)..., but TRUE FAITH leads to PEACE! -
Guys, remember that God “ gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust alike” (see Mattew 5:45), so, the verse from Romans 8:28, respectively:
“God causes everything to work together for the good of those who LOVE God”, has another meaning...: God turns evil things that are against his followers, into something beneficial for them in the end!

Cut it out, Cornel. Save the proselytising for somewhere else. Can't you do something as simple as wish someone a Happy New Year without tediously preaching to them? A new year has nothing whatsoever to do with religion.

Well said to you too, Alan.
Cornel, there's a thread going on here:

if you're interested. And Happy New Year to you both!

Yeah! the irony of preaching to someone about preaching had occurred to me too...I was hoping you wouln't notice. Fat chance.
I've already wished everyone a Happy New Year somewhere else, but it never hurts to do it again, so Beste Wensen voor het Nieuw Jaar.

‘Alan F’., I did NO proselytism, because I did not claim a particular religion, I’m not member of any religious group, and I never asked anyone to follow me.
All the best for ALL !

Cornel you've made around four posts today quoting or paraphrasing scripture. I'm with Alan on this one. Debate the issue, leave the preaching out of it. Yours isn't the only religion here, but you're the only one saying yours is right.
