Haha well after making a number of these ships before you might find you start getting into routine, and the well laid out plans really help.
Having Fun with the Texturing The Scrollwork is coming along slowly as expected. Main hull texture is still only in basic stages. -
Oh well. .. yeah. . ..it looks pretty basic to me. . . . C'mon! You need to step it up a bit!
When it's all finished. .. what's next? Are you going to model the bottle to put it in?

i bet he's gonna model a huge city with half a million 500k+poly mansions, and in one room of one of these houses there's a bottle with this ship in it

Haha as if! wouldnt mind taking on a first rate for a project but man theres alot of detail on those ships. Maybe ill give the bottle a try when shes ready
Added many more lines and coiled ropes, Launches are mapped and seperated from the main mesh , will soon be ready to sail them both. -
Added Most of the sails, Will be adding more Staysails even though the sim does not support more than 6 sails, Will also have different sail setups for different weather conditions. New Helm added along with Cannon maps

Apart from that a friend asked if you only make replica models or do you 'computer modes too'? (her words verbatim)
She was shocked to find out that it wasn't a physical model.

I was wondering, not knowing anything about ships like this, why are the two cannons near the stern of the ship in their own separate room?
