Maybe something like this exists. Otherwise it's a request I guess.

On a fairly regular basis I want to delete a number of materials that are apparently in the scene and can't be purged but are probably on the back sides of faces and such. Currently I have to select the material in the Material browser, Right-Click, wait 10 seconds or so, Delete, repeat. That gives me about 6 materials per minute if I don't mess up or if SU doesn't mess up (often times SU will pop up the Right-Click menu and then close it before I can Delete the material).

What I'd like is some sort of pop-up dialogue or similar solution where I could check all the materials I don't want and then delete them all at once. Does anything like that exist?
