How come we don't have this plugin?? (CAD =>SU)

Chinese plugin PowerCEMF,one of the main function is to clean up all the crossover lines and full-in the outline in faces after we import Autocad DWG file to Sketchup.

That would be great! You could be that somebody! Learn Ruby and make this your "cause" if you like.

Thomthom has also posted a set of free tools to clean up CAD imports and there's a paid tool or two on Smustard.com ...
