I want to take a shot at creating custom scenery in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, so I downloaded the required plugins (parametric.rb, rct3.rb, and su2ase.rb), and pasted them in my Sketchup plugins folder. I figured out how to access the plugins tab at the top in Sketchup, but my newly installed plugins don't show up. Am I doing something wrong?

        Welcome to SCF.

The most common cause for plugins to not work is that they are installed incorrectly. why don't you paste a screen shot of your Plugins directory so we can see how you've got them installed.

Some plugins also need to be turned on, or the toolbars to be shown.

First (on PC), go to the Window Menu and open "Preferences" and look for the "extensions" tab. Scroll through the extensions and make sure they are all turned on. Many plugins do not use this extension manager, so do not be surprised if your plugins are not listed here.

Then go to the "View" menu and go to "Toolbars" and make sure that any toolbars for your plugins are turned on.

Oh also, you need to restart sketchup after installing plugins.

If neither of those help, then definitely post images of your plugins folder.

          Good luck,

          Chris

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.
