      Thank you.

The background came out of SketchUp as a flat-dark gray. That image had edges turned off and it was run through FotoSketcher's watercolor filter. then I applied the sepai filter in Paint.NET.

FWIW, I also exported three other images; shadows only with white background, Edges which gave only the profile edges and the third was also edges but after unsoftening all the edges. The last image was exported at 6000 pixels wide while the others were exported at 1500 pixels wide. I resized the large image before laying it over the rest so those lines would be thinner.

          Dave,

I love fotosketcher! I use it quite a bit for stuff at my office. Haven't mastered yet though. This workflow is very similar to what i do, export some linework, then a "no edges" scene, pass that thorgh Fotosketcher and do a little post-processing in PS. I tried to explain this process to other people in the office and nobody seem to get it.
          Anyway, cool image.

            Thank you Eric and Omar.

I like that work flow too. It's very fast. That's how I get the soft shadows, too.

Really like this image Dave, thanks! Ive read a lot about fotosketcher but have still yet to try it-think I need to, it seems to produce some really nice effects.

                😲 Hypnotic.

I love how the wireframes of the four shapes form concentric squares in the middle. Geometry is just so cool. πŸ˜„

Funny what happens when I'm just goofing around. I probably couldn't have done this if I was trying to draw it.

                      aint that so true..??

i was messing around with 'Shape Bender' a few months ago.....bent something, took the bent shape back to the reference point and rotated it and bent it again.....then i kept repeating it, each time taking it back to the reference point and rotating the newly bent shape and bending it.....

....i did it about 10 times and ended up with something quite remarkable.....totally useless, but remarkable...!! πŸ˜†

Mother Nature did a much better job, though.
