What is the blue button in the middle?

A reflection from the HDRI I used. It is from the sIBL Globals free pack I got. This one is called Newport Loft and the "button" is actually a circular air conditioning vent.

What's the floor surface? Some type of wood? It tiles pretty considerably.
It's a great model though and very nice render!
