Thanks d12dozr,
I've made it work...it was the new http address from YT.
Regarding the new features, they actually configure the ARplugin as a powerful, effective and affordable Augmented Reality Authoring Tool that works in association with SketchUp.

Very neat technology. I am looking to purchase AR software.
Two questions:
Can ARmedia or ARmedia Player autoload during the computer's startup?
What are the system requirements for the ARmedia plugin? I am building a museum interactive so need to purchase a dedicated computer to run the AR software.
Thank you much and great work on the plugin.

Hi Graziano, I have question about licensing. I would like use AR for clients that could look 3D on models i send them.
What is the difference between Lite and full version? Does absence of exporter means that I cannot send models to anyone who didnt buy a licence, so that it is only ME who can see AR model?
What are condiditons of EULA of personal learning edition?
If I buy commercial version, what about upgrades? Will they be for free or at what price? Thanks.

Hi Tomas,
sorry for the delay in answering.@mayan said:

So far the main difference between Pro-lite and Pro version is the ARexporter. Whereas the ARplugin Pro-lite is meant to improve the designer's workflow by means of suitable AR visualization tools that essentially work in close association with SketchUp, ARplugin Pro also allows you to create independent AR files that can be shared and viewed using the ARplayer, without the need of having SketchUp and the ARplugin installed. This does not mean that you cannot use the ARplugin Pro-lite for your business meetings or in public presentations.

You can check by yourself by downloading the PLE. You only need to register on our website for this.

So far many of the current upgrades have been offered for free to ARplugin users. On the other hand, with our new development plan we are going to release a NEW version every year with new important features. For this reason we will introduce a more structured licensing model (probably starting from the next major release) that will include an upgrade fee or a maintenance fee. This new model will be especially targeted to those users who want to upgrade to the newest features without restrictions. The ongoing inclusion of ever new important features motivates the planned shift to a new licensing model, that is still under study.
I hope this helps

Hi Graziano,
your reply helped me a lot. One last question: Is AR player free for commercial purposes? I think that I saw that it wasnt. I would like my clients (companies) could downoload AR player and use it for viewing my arch. models.
Kind regards
Tomas -
Hello Tomas,
the ARplayer is free also for some commercial uses, even though not every commercial use is allowed.Basically what you can do is:
- let your clients download the ARplayer to interact with your 3d projects,
- include the ARplayer and AR content in a product that is distributed for free (like for example a free magazine)
On the other hand, what you cannot do according to the current license is:
- use the ARplayer in a public kiosk (even though you can always use your ARplugin in kiosk applications)
- include the ARplayer and AR content in a product intended for sale (like books and publishing products intended for sale in general)
The inspiring principle is that one-to-one commercial transactions are allowed, whereas lucrative one-to-many transactions are subject to a different licensing model.
Hope this helps

Hello finalepkom,
good to hear from you.

You are using the Demo version of the ARplugin. The Demo version does not allow to change the time limit in the AR visualization.
This can only be removed by using the PLE (that is FREE) or Pro/Pro lite versions. In order to get to it, you have to- buy/register for the software
- download it
- activate the license following installation/activation instructions

I'm not sure that I'm getting the point here. If you mean that you add the video but it does not show during the AR visualization then you probably don't have Quick Time installed. Please check and let me know.
By the way you can always drop us an email via help[at]inglobetechnologies[dot]com or take a look at the ARmedia Support Forums here http://www.inglobetechnologies.com/forum/
Hope this helps
