      Great style, as always. πŸ‘

Have you considered using non-photorealistic face me people? The ones you have seem to contrast a lot with the style you have.

      They are great nonetheless. πŸ˜‰

Good one! πŸ‘ The wood looks great. I don't like the ceiling only. No need for decoration IMO.

Mate given it's a bar and the use of so few people gives an "unsuccessful" feel I'd probably do without them full stop!

I'm a bit the same srx with the ceiling, though would like a slight bulkhead over the bar so it isn't such just furniture in the room! Maybe projecting just out past the stools so it creates a level of intimacy!

yeah, richard..i was torn.. couldnt pack the people in because then they wouldnt be able to see the design..but wanted at least 1 for scale.. i never know what to do in these situations.

the ceiling is alot, but i kind of dig it for this particular space... the finishes were dictated to me, though...and that was one of them πŸ˜‰

Mate I know what you mean! My gut would have been to let the furniture speak scale, the lack of crowd gives me either an after closing or closing down feel - I'd just be that bit worried on the "selling" to client aspect. The old "a picture paints a thousand words" - hmmm? What words are you speaking?

Even the odd beer on the bar? Did the guys leave as the beer was poor? These mate were my first reactions before noting any details ie: First Impressions!

I didn't have too much time to spend on these..so they're quick and dirty. Quickly designed the base... the second floor is meant to mimic the adjoining buildings.... and ran a couple of quick Podium renders.

                            Mark,

You have "The Gift" and you know it πŸ˜„ Great Job!
I find sometimes the thing that takes the longest is finding the right textures and colors that work with the model.
Do you do your own texturing our do you have access to interior designers.
                            Again excellent job!

                              Lapx is right mate! Gifted!

Well done young fella! Beautiful, clean and shows exact! Love it!

My only crit (always got to have one - though I love getting it) the front step mate, accessibility, the drunk and disorderly?? This would really worry me. I know here steps at commercial entries are so uncommon I'd myself be sure to step out and flat on face (hmmm?? Thats probably likely anyway - pints the sign says). But seriously I do worry about the liabilities on that one!

In the UK Part M of the Building Regulations or more wide ranging BS8300 [Basis of the DDA - Disability Discrimination Act - recently superseded by the even farther ranging Equality Act [EA]...] make the operator of all public premises liable if they don't provide 'reasonable access' to all parts of those premises - for example for people in a wheelchair at the same entrance as most other customers. In an existing building it can be argued as 'uneconomic'... BUT for a new building or a large scale refurbishment it would be deemed possible/economic and be a statutory requirement - and an operator would be liable to a large fine and bad publicity if it were not done and then pursued... πŸ˜’
