Sign In Error?
-
Has anyone ever run into this before? I was trying to search the warehouse for a component and got a messaage stating, "Google 3D Warehouse search failed. Please check your Internet connection." I tried signing into Google by clicking on the G in the circle at the bottom left of the SU screen. I get a message saying, "Sign-in error. Try singing in to your Google Account from a web browser." I'm logged into my Google account and have been receiving e-mails all along.
Any ideas how to get past this?
FWIW, I can get to my account on the 3D Warehouse by going through my browser but not through SU.

I have not had that specific problem but lately I have had to re-sign in to my gmail numerous times a day and some of those times it will time out not allowing me to sign in.
I think Google is experiencing technical difficulties.

I get that everytime, all the time. I need to close/re-open SU and then I can log-in from SU.
I have no idea what the cause may be.

Even closing and restarting SU doesn't seem to help. Off to look at the Registry to see if I can find anything there.

Turned out to be a firewall setting for AVG. I changed "Application Action" from "Allow for Safe" to "Allow for All." So apparently AVG doesn't consider the 3D Warehouse "safe."

It's not AVG, it's your singing!

No wonder! And I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.
