Deleting old versions

I am running version 8. Can I safely delete vers 6 and 7?

Yes, you can uninstall them. You might want to root through the Components, Plugins, Styles and Materials folders to see if there's anything you want before you uninstall. You might want to keep V7 though. There's a plugin for that version that will allow you to import CAD files. It doesn't work in V8.

And keep the V6 if you have not the V8 pro!

Just keep them all I guess.
I'm a packrat and usually don't delete anything, (pictures, programs, even bookmarks on my browser) unless I'm absolutely sure I will never need it again. I usually end up keeping them even when I am sure, even though I know I can usually find them again somehow.
I would keep them as they don't take up much space on your hard drive and you never know when you might need them.

I also have everything since v.6. I even have the installer of v.5 (free) but that version was such a crippleware that I did not want to reinstall on this new computer.
