Dimension accuracy lower than 1/10th a millimeter
-
Hi,
Is there a way to achieve an accuracy lower than 1/10th a millimeter using DimensionTool ?
Currently, I set unity to millimeter and I can set a display to "0,1".
But I would like to obtain 1/100th of millimeter.
Thanks for you help. Regards.

As far as I remember, you can set accuracy to two decimal digits. So 0.01 should still work but 0.001 won't. I remember there was a (very technical) explanation for it but due to its technical reasons, I cannot remember.

HI,
in millimeter I can set 0,1
in centimeter 0,01
in meter 0,0001it's always 1/10th millimeter maximum accuracy, strange.
Thanks.

Yes, you are right, sorry. I should have checked first.
(I always use centimetres so the two decimals may have come from that).
Anyway, the "technical explanation" did really happen but I cannot remember the technical reason (as it was beyond my understanding anyway).

Thanks.
So, I'll make the PIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG !!!
I'll re-scale my model in SU by 100...
Regards.
