Sketchyphysics vehicles rendered with Twilight (UPDATE)
-
Shareck, I'm under the impression that this might be the missing piece to make your animations perfect...
http://www.smustard.com/script/FlightPath2Although in your second video the camera seems to be pretty much under control.
-
Im amazed with this. Both look fantastic, but the tank scene is awesome.

Just saw these for the first time. WOW!!!! Never ever knew that kind of realism was possible with SU. Really great work!!!
Only critique is the materials. If the Truck had better reflection on the metal surfaces and the glass was improved with an HDRI as the background...the animation would really come to life...although the render time would certainly go up.
-
Most excellent shareck.
The subtle flapping and jerkiness of the tank's track where it re-engages the guide wheels is awesome.
-
This is outstanding work Shareck, I like them both, and am impressed with your result Could you explain your workflow to us? I tried skphisics a while ago, but I wasn't aware of it's potential and capabilities
Amazing
-
I couldn't imagine one could achieve this result with SP. Outstanding
-
OMG...Is this what they call assisted suicide?
Seriously, that Sturmgeschütz is absolutely unbelievable.
Keep up the good work! -
It's been a while and i'm back with an update. the stug video is now on youtube and the camera is almost ok. would be perfect but i messed up with timing so the tank is moving out of the picture at times. the fire and smoke from the gun i added in photoshop.

Absolutely amazing.

Incredible work!
Never thought something like that could be done with SU & SketchyPhysics!!!I'm waiting for long to have time to study SketchyPhysics. Now I can't pass over. I just have downloaded the last version.
Thank you shareck for the tasks ahead you're bringing to me

Awesome!!! wonderful animation!
-
Fantastic! It looks like it could be the graphics from a game!
How did you do the material for the ground?
I'm very impressed! Every once in a while, people amaze me by expanding on the capabilities of Sketchup!
-

looks very realistic! How long is the creation of the animation without modeling and rendering? (Tiger and other tanks)
-
WOW! Incredible, I was not aware that you can get that kind of work out of Sketchy Physics, Now I gotta go back to it
and try again.
Any tutorials in the works???? hope so.
Thanks -
A great refresh!
