Stucco on wall
-
Same old building but im trying make a stucco wall but looks like candy.
-
I would suggest mixing up the pattern by making a couple of different but similar textures and reducing the depth of the bump map.
-
Kristoff,
Yes the normal map should be lowered down and have to do that.I dont know if this images are over saturated or not.
I have two monitors and they show different.Im using a free program to make normal maps and height maps called
SSBump_Generator_5_3. -
I like the style and the color, I would like to see more solid surface and small areas of cracking or depth. try scaling the pattern like 500%...
-
Yes, there are many patterns that need to be tried like making
x and y coordinates scaled differently. Like making x longer
then y. Lets see what i can do. -
IMO your textures are too large for the scale of the building. Think of a photograph of a similar building, and scale the texture to match the image in the photo. It may be a lot less then you currently think it is.

Ok, honoluludesktop,
Will have to work on other models to figure that size correctly.Below is a scale down and a different color. The two tone is still
there and dont know how to remove it but Its not as noticeable with
a scale down.

Looking good.
-
Ooohhh. Big difference. Very nice.

Here's one with a fine stucco surface.

Thanks Honoluludesktop and Bryan.

Last image looks great!!
I'm so stuck on stucco right now! How did you do this? I'm trying to create use color in the diffuse channel, with a bump map. I can't seem to get it to work.
Please, any help would be so appreciated.

Here's the settings for the stuccos.

know i havnt tried it.
