Help with importing cad file

I watched a couple of toturials on importing and working with cad files.When I went to import under file menue I could not find the file types to import DXF or DWG.Is this a plug in that I need. Thanks for any help

What version of SU are you running?

SU8 free doesn't have an option for importing CAD files. You need pro for that.
You could try the plugin here, though.
