Maybe you need enable OSCoolean toolbar? If I recall right, OSCoolean toolbar is not automatically enabled.
btw great plugin, thanks for update.Does this OSCoolean boolean plug-in require the toolbar mentioned above? I cannot find it and it is not mentioned in the first post as a requirement.
I am not even SEEING the plug-in as an option in SU8. I downloaded SU8 SPECIFICALLY to let me use this plug-in. This is extremely frustrating. I am NOT a new SU user; I have SU7 with various plug-ins.
I'm using Win7 and my SU8 plugins folder has the Oscar folder and OSCoolean.rbs file. The latter is dated 2nd Oct 2010, downloaded today 21DEC10.
What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else encountered this? (Yes, I am restarting SU after installing plug-in).

Has anyone taken this current version made for SU8 and used it in SU7 with any success?
-
Crashes SU8 every time for me.

Oh, well, gave up on this and went back to SU7... bought Booltools and seems to work perfect.

This is great work Thanks so much, nice tool-icons too.

Great plugin thanks.
Could you please include a line with UI::Toolbar.restore (check and match syntax), so it keeps the status of the toolbar (displayed or not), thanks. I'd do it but since you plug in is rbs I can't.
SU8 OS 10.5.8

Hi- I'm a relative newbie to Sketchup...but I have had experience with Booleans in Form Z. I'm on a Mac using SU 8 and cannot seem to get this plug in working. I have the entire contents of the unzipped file in the plugin folder (and restarted). I don't see an OSCoolean toolbar to enable in the menus, nor do I see anything in the contextual menus. Does anyone know if this awesome sounding tool is working for SU 8 on the Mac? Is there something else I need to install as well? Thanks

Back in Sketchup Version6, this plugin has a presence in Tools. Also, right click context menu will reveal the tools in the flyout. It may be similar in version 8.
I have pretty much abandoned this plugin for a perceived lack of response. But, what should I expect for free? -
all that is very curious because it works fine in SU8 free with Pc

Hello,
the plugin does not appear in tools nor in the rightclick menuAs I frequently install plugins and use them regulary- without problems.
I do not know what could possibly cause this problem. Help!To make sure it's no conflict with an installed plugin, I just installed a "clean" Sketchup 8.0.4811 (most recent version). Still, I can not get it to work.

A few posts up I had this reply:

Maybe this does not apply. Just trying to help. The responsiveness of the author leaves a bit to be desired.

Thanks But as I wrote, it's neither in the menu nor right-clicking the groups does show the plugin...
Is there perhaps a version older then 8.0.4811 that's known to work?

I am using XP Home 32 Bit SP 3,You have to: View/Toolbars/ and select OSCoolean
It works when "things" are: make group, not make components.

Hi everybody.
I got some problem when trying to use these very interesting plug in : after choosing one of the buttons, nothing more happens, no more pointer, impossible to select the solids ... and I get this error message from the Ruby console :
Error: #<NoMethodError: protected method `onMouseMove' called for #<OSCoolean:0xdfe87e0 @coolean="T">>
(eval):1298What made I wrong or forgot to install ??
Thank's for any help.

I'd love to try this plugin ( iam still on v 7.1) but it does not appear wise to install this as it might not work on ver 7?

can you make OSCoolean work with faces/meshes? Like subtract a cube from a mesh/face?
