Lines not dislaying in kmz

How do you make a sketchup model with a combo of faces and single lines display in Google Earth? The faces display fine but the lines get lost. I've tried applying a material but I can't get it to display.

Hi Rose,
Since one of the updates back in version 6, edges (of faces) do not display on GE however standalone edges do.
Now depending on what you exactly want to do, it may be possible to display them. Have a look at this example where those lines around the "building" display in GE, too.

I've found that if you make a group or component of just the edges, they will show in Google Earth. When I'm ready, I switch the Face Style to Wireframe, select all the edges, group them, then switch back to my current style. It's a pain, but it works.

Yes, exactly. Like in the example above where standalone edges were grouped separately from the mesh itself. THEN they get exported displayed.
