I'm having difficulties with (1)pattern positioning and (2)light colors showing there color when viewed directly in front. I am trying to display an interior room (den area) with a fireplce on one wall. I have set up the walls as components as well as the fireplace. Both objects were created using the 'push/pull' method. When I fill the fire place, I am only able to reposition the pattern on the face and not the sides. Should I redraw the image using the line tool instead? With regards to the walls, I fill the wall face with a light green color and when I view the wall directly in front the wall color only shows up white. When I orbit, the wall increases in its green color as the angle increases. Is there any way to keep the color consistant at all angles? Also, when looking directly at the face of the wall, the side walls to the left and right are very dark. Is there any way to control the darkening effect as if the room were well lit from the center of the room allowing the viewer to see all aspects of the room with a color and brightness that is more in line with a well lit room?
      Any help would be appreciated.
      Thanks

It would be easier to understand the problems you are having if you post the file.
