Hi all! I am kinda new to SketchUp and am progressing into the creation of dynamic components. A search on the web led me to this forum which looks like a great place to learn and hang out. Hopefully this post will be the first of many in learning and passing on what I have learned. So let's get this party started!!
I created a simple dc table made up of a top component and two leg components. I uploaded it to 3D Warehouse if you would like to take a looksy. Simple Table http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=4992b8b0e68f5a4b295a540164256a13&prevstart=0
So here is my dilemma ... I was able to get the parametrics to work and the various components work well together. The problem is when I move the table it tends to jump after I pick the new location. I created one before this and it did the same thing so it has to be something I am doing wrong when setting my parameters. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi Ken and welcome.
We have a dedicated subforum for Dynamic Components under the main SketchUp Discussions so I am moving your topic there hoping that someone more knowledgeable than me will reply there.

Hi - I had a quick look at your component. It doesn't seem to be a whole table; when I download it I get a top and 4 legs and only the top is dynamic. It may not have uploaded correctly. To upload dynamic components right click on the component and select 'share component' - this should work and it will allow you to upload updates later.
