Select faces by orientation
-
Anyone know a way to select all vertical faces? I need to uniformly delete them, and there are way too many to go through and do it manually.
Thanks.

ThomThom's Selection Toys will do that.

I found those but can't figure out to be that specific. Are you familiar with them?
-
Yes, just right click on any vertical face, then Select -> Coplanar Faces
I guess that will only select faces in that exact orientation, and so will take more than one selection but will still cut down some of your work

Ok, that led me to an easy way to do this: to right click on a horizontal surface, then click select perpendicular.

Then deselect the original face and you're good to go.

Thanks for the help.
