A little animation using sections
-
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make this little animation better? I know I could render it some how but I have no idea how its done! I have downloaded Kerkythea to start with. I was just wondering was there anything anyone thought I could do more short of rendering it?
Thanks Kurt

I do not think it could be done with Kerkythea (from SketchUp). However there is KeyFrame Animation now ($ but has a trial version) that you could try. Also, that post contains a bunch of references to other animation plugins.

Hu Kurt, hi folks.
Unless it is intentional, I would try with Scene Delay set to 0 to avoid these pauses. The animation would be fluid from start to to finish.
Great show, by the way.
Just ideas.

One thing that bothers me as I watch it is what looks like unnecessary camera movement. I find that very distracting. As Jean said, set the scene delay to 0. I'd also set the frame rate higher so the animation is smoother.

Thanks guys, I'm working on some of your suggestions right now.

True. When you make such animations, it is recommended to keep one camera spot fo all scenes (or just change the camera where necessary). I have also been playing with similar things (although often just export shorter parts and then compile the video in an external editor including images and transitions). Not great examples but may give some ideas:

I also wanted to say the plugin Camera Stats I think by Martin Rinehart help a whole lot in keeping the camera where I wanted it in each scene.

I think it's much better now!
However the frame rate still seems to be a bit jaggy. How many frame per second did you export it?
