Attempts to Get My Gmail Password
-
Bastards!
I wonder if this info was given to the Google folks, could they track the scum down and remove their hands
-
That would be nice. I e-mailed one of my Google contacts in Boulder who said they would try to pass it on to the right people.
-
I don't know if I would want Google to have the authority to remove hands.
@Mike: I'm pretty sure that this comment is somehow egregious, but judging from the grammar in those examples, the author probably lives in a region where it is customary punishment.

'Ere Dave?
can I have ya password, like? seem's there's a problem with the samophlange interrupt code....
-
Khai, sure. You can have it. Everyone might as well have it. Save it somewhere safe, though.
-
There's a proper ways of reporting these phishing attempts.
-
Thanks Csaba. I've never even clicked on that arrow before.
-
I get a Pay-pal phishing scam at least once a week... to think that they exist because many gullible folks out there take the bait.
-
Even worse (and the reason I erased the sender) that it seems that his computer (or gmail address?) was hacked and the spam sent to me from a known person's account.

I received spam emails from 2 of my "friends" in the past year...their accounts were hacked and the perps sent a message with a link to pharmaceuticals in one email, and requested money in the other. I played along with the one requesting money, told him I'd get him some asap

Oh, I have had that several times. Once when I worked for the township, my boss ho did not understand English got one, too and I told him in vain that it's just some scam, he insisted that I translate it for him properly.
What an idiot.
