Virtual chair

It's VIRTUALly invisible and feels like i'm not even sitting in it!

Larsen, are you looking for someone to build the chair for you from wood?
There are a number of us here who could do it but it may not be very practical. It looks like you've designed a rather heavy chair. Where are you and how would one of us get it to you? I think you'd be better off to find a local woodworker (maybe one of us is local to you) and give them a plan to work from. Will a low seat and back work to make your back feel better?
-
Maybe this will suit you better .
-
Does it make sense ?
-
I think I can see what you have in mind. Do you plan to have cushions on it?
What is it you are asking from us here on Sketchucation? Are you searching for someone to actually construct these chairs?

here is a copy of the file.chaise-Larsen-9.skp

Modest gift to Fredo6 who made me love SU.
I would have liked to offer him one in full size. -
-
I found a woodworker nearby who promised to construct a prototype. i'll post a photo as soon as achieved. Any ideas to improve this model.
-
This one is also a present to Fredo6. But THE Best is on the track. Stay on the tune.

Another variation.

Some variation.

Apparently I had a problem with attachments.
-
Hum...very demanding forum!
-
Why so?
-
cushions are of course necessary on it?
-
Are you just using these various arrangements of your chair to practice using SketchUp or is there some other goal in mind?
-
To practice and it became like an addiction.Hope this doesn't bother.
-
It's no bother at all. I was just wondering what you are working at with all these different arrangements but no real descriptions.
As for practicing SketchUp, you might want to invest a little time in working with materials. The arm rests for example could use some help in the wood grain department.
