I think all of people around can work with sds but u just have to be patience to continue with the trials.
First pre-render , no hair yet(hair it's gonna be a hard task).

Can I send you some hair?
-
I have plenty of it,allover.
Sure, although i will make it myself.I think i will make some kind of a textured mesh.

I guess it will make a great challenge, What do you mean by textured mesh?
I was thinking of something like this will suit your female:

Phew ..i'm modeling this for years and it seems i can't give it a nice real feeling.
For who wanna play with it,here's the lowpoly(rather high ) model.Human head by EliseiDesign.skpDid some hair with the fur plugin(pretty nice)
And a rendered one.

Hi Eli,
I haven't yet gave up..

Nevertheless, guys, these are some serious pieces of work.
Thanks for sharing, Elisei. Too bad I can´t use the fur plugin on my skull.
Cheers! -
lol Csaba the hulk stripper..
I see you are having a lot of fun with SDS2 Pete, pretty interesting, i never used so much SDS since i bought it, the zorro sword was pretty handy tough, but this looks so much easier to use! perhaps the original head of this post, which is already looking pretty good can be improved with this new SDS2 easily.
i see great things coming for SketchUp for organic low poly modeling that will make this now complicated shapes, with talent and immagination, a piece of cake.

@Mitcorb-I looked in the video's tags and the program seems to be Maya.
I don't have a step by step version;i've watched the video for couple of times and i paused when he made major changes in the geometry and i tried to do the same.
And for the ear, i've searched and downloaded an ear picture and i used it as a blueprint.
@Jo-ke -I believe that the texture makes all the deal in your model, otherwise the model will be less detailed .Took a step on making her hair !!
