How much snow have you actually got? Surely you could walk to the pub? We're up to about 24 inches not including the drifts.

ahh yeah but the pub I was going to is about 3 miles away, the snow is not too bad 3-8 inches I think. I could walk it but nobody else will so no point going on my own haha.
In comparison this snow is minor to what you guys will get but I dont think the Liverpool infrastructure can cope or was prepared all the buses are off and I doubt any taxis are going to bother. Ill just admit defeat for the night and try and be more constructive and do work!

No snow in Birmingham- just ice. But the local pubs are crap, so it's me, a curry and this bottle of Malt! โ˜€

You'd better stay home. Better than waking up face down in a drift somewhere.

Couldn't resist going out and managed to make it to the pub for last orders and get a single pint not too bad I guess. And then finding a door , using it as a sledge and throwing myself down a hill great fun.

Nah no chance of snow drifts its only minus 1 here and I went to the pub down the road as apposed to the city centre dont worry. Now some sleep so I can go sledging tomorrow on a sledge instead of an improvised door!

Got to make the most of it as we get about 3 days of snow a year here ๐Ÿ˜ž!

We are promised heavy snow in Oxford today, but I hope they have got it wrong as I have to pick up a hire car on Monday.

Hope everyone is nice and warm.

                    Kind regards,
                    Bob

Liverpool bus drivers are wusses, but the black cab drivers are nutters!
I flaggad one last night who seemed to think you have to drive faster in the snow.

I got out half way for fear of my life.

yeah they are running a bank holiday service I have seen about four busses in two days! As for black cabs its safer to walk only 10 mins to the pub or tesco what more do I need ๐Ÿ˜„
