Large Image Support

Hi SketchUp Team,
we need to import a set of large images into sketchup. As SktechUp seams to have no Level of Detail image cache, we get into trouble while importing a set of large images (10000x10000 pixel) each. Sketchup isn't reporting any loading problem, but some images are just white. In addition the memory manager of MSwin starts to swap a lot.
Professional CAD systems like AutoCad provide an LOD image cache.This feature is highly recommended (and wished).

Have you tried exporting via LayOut? Apparently it can export better than SketchUp.
