SHADOW SETTINGS DIALOG BOX

Good Morning,
This morning I seem to have lost my shadow settings dialog box.
When I click the toolbar button for shadow settings nothing happens.
The button next to this that turns shadows off & on works fine.
Without the shadow settings box I am unable to un-check "shadows on ground plane"
for example.I thought it might be hiding under other dialog boxes so I closed them all and
it was not hiding.
I tried the "display dialogs" shortcut & that did not work.
I tried shutting down and restarting. No such luck.This is the same system I use every day all day, no changes or updates or....anything.
windows 7 pro, su 8 pro,
Anybody have any ideas, short of re-installing?

Happens to me several times - just reinstall SketchUP.

Happens to me also, but I can get it back by enabling the dialog, then closing/opening SU.

I made this utility today - if it happens again, it'll be waiting in the Window menu.

Dedmin, thanks for the suggestion. I will try other method prior to
re-installing. I find re-installing...unsettling.p

My shadow setting dialog box wont let me toggle the display toggles i.e on ground plane.
How can this be fixed? I need to be able to change these.
huh? now it appaers to be working. Was ghosted out before where one could not chnage the parameters. Strange?

It is ghosted out until you turn on shadows at all.
