It saddens me that interest in facebook is even linked with interest in sex. Is nothing sacred!
I too will never sign up even if i am the last person on the planet with less than a thousand 'freinds'.

Well it isnt facebook.
Statistics, graphs e.t.c. always concern me in a strange way.
Its like excell spread sheets - does information in a spreadsheet become more real/believable simply because it is surrounded by a grid and has the appearance of a calculation? Adding up to something more tangible?"Oh my god its in a spreadsheet, it must be true"
Its a bit like putting a collection of words in a triangle
Anyway rant over.

Why shouldn't it be true. These graphs show only frequencies of searched terms and comparison of these frequencies = data .. Their interpretation is up to you.
There is nothing sacred about sex ... do not confuse it with love

Interesting; as facebook climbs, sex decreases. Doesn't surprise me really, facebook is source or factor in many divorces.

I dunno, I was opposed to face-book until I joined and it is now pretty cool, I have my privacy settings how I want them, hidden all stupid games like farm-ville and Mafia wars, do not friend every request, subscribe to causes and sites I am interested in. Great for quick chats and keeping in touch/knowing the interests of folks you no longer see often, like friends in other countries.
It is indeed a total waste of time, but then again I have lots of time to waste while my machines are rendering and I can not use them for anything besides surfing the net. -
