Turned off toolbars come back on restart (Mac/SU7.1)
-
Hello,
I'm having trouble with toolbars associated with plugins on my SU7.1Pro-install on MacOS X 10.6.4 - every time I start SU, the toolbars are there, even though I closed them before exiting SU.
I've had a look at the plist for SU, and when shut down, the plist looks fine - all the toolbars have 0 for visibility:
<key>SketchUp.Toolbars.Dynamic Components.Visible</key> <string>0</string> <key>SketchUp.Toolbars.NUL Transformation.Visible</key> <string>0</string> <key>SketchUp.Toolbars.Round Corner.Visible</key> <string>0</string> <key>SketchUp.Toolbars.Sandbox.Visible</key> <string>0</string> <key>SketchUp.Toolbars.SkIndigo.Visible</key> <string>0</string> <key>SketchUp.Toolbars.Subdivide and Smooth.Visible</key> <string>0</string> <key>SketchUp.Toolbars.Surface Operations.Visible</key> <string>0</string> <key>SketchUp.Toolbars.V-Ray for SketchUp.Visible</key> <string>0</string>
The plugins (namely TOS, SDS, JPP and SkIndigo) are installed in my user's plugin folder. I tried moving them to the system's plugin folder, but that did not help, so I moved them back to ~/Library/Application Support/Google Sketchup 7/Sketchup/plugins again.
Any one else experiencing the same issue? If so, and it has already been posted, sorry about that.
Regards,
Olle

that's up to the ruby writers to provide (ie- it's not a bug)
all of whaat's plugins act this way (sds, skindigo, profile builder, bool tools) but fredo has made his more mac friendly.
you should update jpp and tos so you'll at least be able to close those ones if you choose.

Hi Jeff!
Thanks for the reply!
I realized this as I started mucking about with the rubies - I guess I'll have to patch the rubies myself to fix this! Thanks for the heads up though!
