Sattelite image on sketchup
-
Hi !
I need for a project to use in background an high def sattelite image. So i use many snapshots with the tool
included in sketchup ('add a place'). However it creates on each image in the bottom a logo and some text "condition of use / privacy etc..".It's really a problem because as i want to make an animation, then all my scene sparks...
Is there a solution to desactivate that logo and text ? Am i oblige to do my own sattelite image using a photomerge tool or
something like that.. ? What is the better to do ?Thanx a lot !

You are getting these snapshots from Google Earth?
The source is requesting that you acknowledge conditions for use? Or is this a watermark, and therefore, it is copyrighted material requiring you to obtain permission to use?
Unless I am misunderstanding, which is very likely, you may need to pay a fee for use of copyrighted material. -
he's talking about 'add location' in su8.
the image comes in with google's logo as well as a copyright notice on it.as far as i know, the only way to get rid of it is to import a larger image than necessary then delete the bottom part..

or make some overlappings
So big scale possible!
By Kabak, so you just keep one copyright -
Thanx Pilou !
However there is a problem when you use more than 2 pictures in y axis cause images are between Layer 0 (that you can't delete) and an other one (Google earth snapshot) so when you want to explode "line by line" it fucks because of non-visible layer..
I may do that badly... or just do it step by step.. ?

Ok i found the solution : the first images have to be on the top of the final hi-res image and then pick up the captures by going to the bottom..
Then no problem
