Change Drop Down Menu Names

Hello All... all the plugins are really great. However, the names of the plugins are all over the place in terms of
- the name displayed in the drop down menu list
- the location of some of them... some of them in Tools, others under Plugins, other under Draw
- many of them could be grouped together into their own submenu... my Plugins drop-down, for example, scrolls down off the page because I have so many installed
Is there a way to modify some Ruby script or otherwise in order to move these around and rename them? It would make it a lot easier to find the tools.
