Change Drop Down Menu Names

Hello All... all the plugins are really great. However, the names of the plugins are all over the place in terms of

the name displayed in the drop down menu list
the location of some of them... some of them in Tools, others under Plugins, other under Draw
many of them could be grouped together into their own submenu... my Plugins drop-down, for example, scrolls down off the page because I have so many installed

Is there a way to modify some Ruby script or otherwise in order to move these around and rename them? It would make it a lot easier to find the tools.
