I drew a frame for a housing I want to make but need to see if it is strong enough to handle some bending and dropping. Is there a way in which I can do this or do I need some other software to do it?

    Thanks,

    S

      Hi Samaya and welcome!

So you mean some structural / statical analysis of the model?
I am afraid it is not possible in SU (definitely not in native SU but I cannot even recall a plugin that would do it).

Thats a pity. I will try to export the file into another format and check it at a friend who has Solidworks.

              Thanks for the help.

If it is a wood frame, no way in solid works, wood is anisotropic...

But you could evaluate any metalic part easily.
