      Hi,

I'm trying to import a 3D model into Sketchup from ArchiCAD. I've exported it as a .3ds, .DWG and .DXF but none of the file will open.

When I click import in Sketchup, the files I want to import are greyed out which means they cannot be opened, even though Google say these files are supported.

I'm using Sketchup Pro 8, ArchiCAD 14 and MAc OS X 10.6.4. I also have AutoCAD for MAc if that helps.

      Am I missing something here?

      Thank You

make sure to select the format you're trying to import.. once you select the proper file type, those files will no longer be greyed out.

          Perfect thank you!

I've not used sketchup for a while... ArchiCAD is making too much hard work for the early design stage for me though..

          Thank You
