Surface "quiver" in animation

Hi everyone, I'm realitivly new to using the animation export in Sketchup, and in trying to create a movie for a client I've run into a problem with the quality. The movement, and clarity are adequate, but the lines and surfaces quiver and flash enough to make a person dizzy. Here's a link to part of the animation. The quality was reduced a bit in the upload so it doesn't come off as intense as it is when burned to a dvd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0-oginP3VY
Any suggestions you have to improve the quality would be greatly appreciated!!!

I think I see what you're referring to. I see it especially near the spindles on the railings. One thing you might try is changing your style so the edges aren't so heavy or perhaps turn them off. I think you might also reduce or eliminate it if you make your export at a larger size.

Dave, I was also think that maybe the choice of texture on the balustrade was contributing to the jitters. What do you think?

I think you have a good point. It does seem like there are a lot of heavy textures between the rails and the logs. They could be causing some of that. I noticed more of the jitter along the windows just before the camera dives back down through the floor to the first level. Looks to me as if the edges aren't anti-aliased which makes me think exporting at a larger size would help.
If it was my project, I think I'd simplify the materials a bit and not worry so much about the textures. Maybe just use colors instead. Since the materials are applied, I would at least make the grain run in the right direction like on the posts of the railings.

Hi folks.
Another possibility of jitter that is often overlooked is when the model is very far from the origin. Open GL has a hard time with that.
But, you will notice that during the modeling phase since the jitter effect would manifests itself when orbitting, panning and zooming.
To see this effect, try this:
1 - Draw a cube near the origin.
2 - Move it 100 km (100000 m) along the red axis.
3 - Use Zoom Extend to find it.
4 - Orbit to see a bit of jitter.
5 - Move it another 100 km. The jitter increase.
Just ideas.
