Strange shading on adjacent face with same texture
-
Dear all,
Im having a strange bug with 2 groups which have the same material but give a different dark shading.
Without shadows its worse then with shadows turned on. Reversing a face gives the same result.

Anyone knows what is happening?

Got a sample model?
I nearly looks to me that they are not identical materials...
By the way - if you toggle "Use sun for shading" you get the same shading as with shadows off - just sans the shadows.

You have some very small skinny 'shard' faces in there that are causing SU to generate incorrect surface normals, hence the different shading using Sun.
These typically get created when performing booleans and such. Also look for t-junctions that will cause cracking.
