Sketchup 8-very disappointing!

I can't import from autocad anymore. Unfortunately I don't have SU7 anymore & the pluggin for autocad doesn't work!!!Can anyone suggest a similar program that accepts .dwg files? or any solution that doesn't include spending money!

But we all know for about six mount now that dwg will be gone in the future SketchUP free! Very disappointing You didn't read before upgrading! Try DoubleCAD free.
