Is anyone here also having difficulties getting their auth. codes from google?
    7 days and still nothing.
My order was accepted and I received a receipt and order number.
I've tried emailing support but have had no reply.
I've posted on the google Su forum along with several others with the same problem. No replies.
My account has been debited for the upgrade.
I'm in Australia, originally I obtained SU5 and upgrades from a reseller here, perhaps thats the problem.
I'm hoping someone from Google will see this and tell me whats going on.

No - it's not just you. I parted with my cash on-line a week ago and I'm still waiting for my code. Like you, I obtained my Sketchup Pro licence from a local distributor.

fwiw, it must be something to do with your original vendor (not that it's any excuse to be left hanging for this long)

i got my upgrade license within a minute of paying for it.

              hi geoff,
i had to look up 'fwiw'.
thought it might mean; 'foreigners will incur wait'
yes, i now remember the last 'pay for' upgrade, i filled out the form to the end and was then told to 'go forth' and contact my reseller.

Well, I have my licence sorted.

Turns out that the details had been sent to my gmail account (which I only opened to trial Google Wave and never actually use) and not to the email that I used to place the order.

john, how did you work this out?
just found my gmail account (used once 2 years ago) details there same as you, including an apology for not getting it first time, tho it seems i did, but how was i to know?

now is that bloody weird or what? why wouldnt the reply come to the addy i ordered from, the confirmation from google and paypal did.

i can understand gloopal wanting to promote the app but even a note: check your gmail!, would be helpful.

Wish I could claim some prescient skills, but I just emailed the local distributor to let them know that I had not received the upgrade info and in their reply they happend to mention the email address that they sent the info to. Absolutely crazy thing for Google to do, though!

To paraphrase your byline 'lifes a bitch and then you die'
Did I just make that up or did I hear it somewhere?
Anyway fellow yachtie, I have 6 days left to fix a big hole in the hull of my cav975, or i miss the crane and the slip.
So I must away to dream of epoxy and glassfibre.

Fair winds and safe harbours to you.
                      baz.
ps: in this case 'my' byline is not acceptable.

I'm jealous. Owning a boat seems a very long way off for me indeed. I harbouring a distant hope that I may make it on to Endeavour for at least one leg of her Australian circumnavigation in 2011-2012, though.

well, i'd say the boat owns me rather:) but the crew chip in so its not too bad.
if you have any time in melbourne, come for a sail.

Baz, that looks like a very nice boat.

A 1980 Catalina 27 owns me. Today was a bit depressing, We took her sails and anchor off in preparation for her being hauled on Monday. She'll spend the winter on the hard overlooking frozen Lake Pepin waiting for the ice to melt again.

were you referring to epoxy jeff? it doesnt do that, just gets everywhere and ruins your clothes.
or perhaps sailing? thats a natural high.

Yes indeed. I have to give it to those older boats. They tend to be heavily built which makes them nice in a seaway. I prefer wooden boats but the older, heavily built fiberglass boats are better than a lot of the tupperware boats being built these days.

Talking about older wooded boats, here is my favourite old girl - that's me on the T'gallant yard in the third picture (about 36m above the deck.)
